Living on Earth (PRI) goes to Eva's Farm this week with acclaimed chef Didi Emmons to find some seasonal eats.

Nov 8: Special Dinner at Bondir, Cambridge

Please join us and our good friends Didi Emmons and Eva Sommaripa for a special dinner to celebrate the release of Didi’s new book WILD FLAVORS, One Chef’s Transformative Year Cooking From Eva’s Garden.

Didi and her inspiration – celebrated organic farmer Eva Sommaripa, will share stories and read from the book. Chef Jason Bond will offer a menu based on the ingredients and recipes from Wild Flavors.

The day chef Didi Emmons first stepped foot onto a Dartmouth farm named “Eva’s Garden,” she felt something change. “Yeah, it was like a wonderland,” Emmons said. “I was tasting everything. I knew it was all edible. But I couldn’t recognize every herb.”

Tres Gatos will have a full menu tribute to Wild Flavors and Eva Sommaripa on November 2, 2011. Didi and Eva will be at the event to discuss the book and sign copies. Books will be available for sale.
